We are a family-run business born from a true passion for fine wines, exquisite whisky, and decadent afternoon tea—an appreciation that began at home with our wonderful mum, Margaret.
Mum had a special way of making the simplest moments feel extraordinary. Whether sharing a pot of tea, a glass of wine, or a luxury bake, we created memories, laughed until we cried, and often put the world to rights over a delicious afternoon tea. Her love of good food, great company, and a perfectly brewed cup of tea shaped who we are and inspired us to bring that same warmth and connection to our tasting experiences.
Now, we are proud to share our passion with you by hosting unique tasting evenings and personalised events throughout Scotland.
Our journey began in the whisky industry, where we worked as Tour Guides for a Lowland Distillery before becoming Liquor Brand Ambassadors for a leading drinks company. This inspired us to deepen our knowledge, earning our BIIAB Whisky Ambassador Certification and working towards our WSET qualifications in Wine and Spirits.
Through the years, we've explored tastings across Scotland and Europe, always drawn to the relaxed and informal settings that allow people to truly savour the moment. One of our most treasured memories is a tasting in the courtyard of Badia a Coltibuono—“The Abbey of Good Harvest”—a two-thousand-year-old estate in Tuscany where vineyards, chestnut groves, and olive trees produce some of Italy’s finest wines. It was an experience that captured everything we love about sharing a great dram or a beautiful glass of wine—stories, friendship, and the joy of discovery.
This is what we hope we bring to our own tastings, whether at local venues or intimate home gatherings.
Of course, no gathering would be complete without a touch of indulgence! Just like Mum, we believe in the power of a lovingly made bake to bring people together, and we are delighted to have shared our sweet treats as part of your special celebrations.
